     The UltraTimer Control uses NO APIs. Just pre-set the total interval any where from 1 millisecond to about 24 days. Set the TimerMode to fire Periodic or One-Time timer events. Initial Interval is calculated in milliseconds and up to (59999ms), then combined with the Minute and Hour intervals for the total interval between calls to the control's timer event. Also fires MinuteAlarm and HourAlarm events. For more details on this and other controls created by Paczero, visit http://www.paczero.cjb.net

I love the idea of this control. However, I've never personally programmed a control so I have a really dumb question. Do you just paste all of this into a "user control" the compile it?

Great code. Very easy to use. Worked very well. Thanks! This picks up the slack where the VB timer control really fell short. Here's one suggestion. Allow the minutes to be set more than 59 minutes. Ie. the control would accept 90 minutes instead of having to convert it to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Ok ok I know that's really pushing it. We have the source so when/if I get around to making that change I'll post it. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

I like your control but I think I found a bug. If you set the Enable property to False, the timer continues to function. You have to also set the Interval to 0 in order for it to stop. Please reply and let me know if this is a bug or a design feature. Thank you.

Ther is no way that tis will go down to one millisecound. How it won an award is beyond me. I hahe linked it to Mscomm and put a Scope on the output and it is all over the place, and the fastest it can go is about 50 millisecounds.

Seriuosly this control is LOL... why?
i tell ya...
It is using a VB timer to Raise its own "_timer()" event....
It is poorly written...
The idea is a caind of good... but uploading it too PSC is lol...
sorry but it is...
c!

Private Sub Timer1_timer()
RaiseEvent Timer
End Sub

Try to use some API's to make a realt timer...
SOrry ... but keep it up... i'll still give a 5 for support another programmer... because thats the only way you can start making a real Timer... by peoples support... ;-)

what the..??
i agree with Yozz, u should not use vb's timer to control ur own timer, it's useless. plus: the code is so poorly maintained (so hard to read). maybe u should try to code in an educative way. jia you!!

It's not useless at all. It is a simple solution to allow you to exceed the 10 second limit of VB's Timer.
