This program will find all the DLLs and OCXs that a program needs to be opened. for example, the main dlls that are needed for VB 6 apps to be run is MSVBVM60.dll..etc.. There was a previous post in PSC by someome i cant remember his name, but he had many bugs in his prog, and it didn't get all the dlls and ocxs that are needed in some large programs.. this one does it all.. see the screen shot for more info :) please vote if you find it useful. and remember, this is useful when u want to make a setup package and do not know what files to include :) ICQ 7293201 email strange_life@hotmail.com :)

This program is not as accurate as the author wants to think it is. I ran a test on one of my applications that I had a problem creating a setup file for... The package and deployment wizard did bot detect certain DLL's I needed...Neither did this application!..All in all, I doubt it is any more accurate than Package and deployment wizard included with VB

Can't anyone enhance this code. It would be useful to make a better program then the Pack & Deploy Wiz (Regarding the DLL OCX filez).

Hmmmm. This program is intersting! It's fun to abuse napster with it but it's hard to use properly. There are too many set captions for the text boxes.

Well, it worked with two applications that needed a lot of dlls. But then again, it might not work properly with other ones.

Hi just a couple of things this program is an example of how NOT to code DXB700(ever heard of intsr()) it fell over several times with me and the point about it not finding all dll`s is true as it only finds the dll`s and ocx embedded in the exe it will not find the ones that are called from these.
