     Here is an example. If we have the traditional image of the following form: |-------x---------|-----------------------------------------------y-------------| And we want to insert between the segments x and y amount of data is n we first physically rewrite the entire segment y, and then we enter this place the data n. Thus we have been physically recorded data on the amount of n + y, where y data we also considered before writing, so we have processed (read and write) the amount of data equal to n + y + y. |-------x---------|-------n---|-----------------------------------------------y-------------| My program organizes the file so that it may, at any place to write or delete any amount of data without overwriting the data y. What gives? With reference to the previous example, the only solution is to write data n. |-------x---------|-------n---|-----------------------------------------------y-------------|
