Why API popup menu ? -Api menus can exist on borderless form, VB menus can't -offers much more options as VB menus ! Why not API popup menu ? -It takes a lot of knowldge, thinking, coding and time. Solution to the last: MC API MENU CODE GENERATOR ver 2.0 (Pro) ver1.0 -it makes API menus code automaticaly - you yust build them like in VB ! -it makes sub-s where you put code to be executed when items selected ! -you can save builded strucures for later use & load them -even if you know everything about API menu coding - will save you a lot of time & thinking (specialy about submenus) ! ver 2.0 -Ability of having PICTURES added (12 *12 pixels) they can allso replace checkmarks ! -Left, right, up, down item NAVIGATION in nice menu -Each list box has it's own popup menu - no need to say: all created with this app -Complete PATH FINDER - makes handy comments in output code so jou can see to which item part of code fits -No more mountains of subs produced - all stuff in one sub -Automatic CHECKED/UNCHECKED handling added -help & Tool tip on every step -grrrrr, ver 1 .MAPs doesn't fit in ver 2.0 -+ cool proffesional looks and no buggs so you must vote ! If not convinced jet, look at screenshot - all those menus are this app generated (with one click).

What you have submited is really great but I would like to see your project into Visual basic add in like another Menu builder. OR

Use the existing Menu builder and rest of the things will be take care by your Menu builder.

By doing this way we don't need to go back and forth running your program.

Great job. (No Option Explicit, another debugging opportunity for me. Ha. Ha.)

Any ideas how to change backcolor of generated menus - as I saw on PSC - but it was OCX, no source

The OCX probably generates the menus itself and colors them. It is not that hard to make self drawn menus. There is possibly an API way of doing it but none that I know of.

Great project. A little over the top on the "Vote for me" however. I can see some "real work" use for this. Thanks for sharing...

Biofreak,

Alpha was simply stating that there are possible better examples out there...
In fact, I'm about to release one. Hopefully it'll be well received.

I have not downloaded this code..but...

It looks great from the screen dump. Some of the comments also give it high praise and some people are just being down right i*d*i*o*t*s.

What does get me however is the 1 comment regarding the OCX with no code. This should not even be here then. This site is called "planet SOURCE CODE"

Well thats all I want to say.

Very good but is it posible that you can convert it into just code so that you don't have to create it using made functions and listboxs. Really this code doesn't go with anything does it. But you still get 4*.

Great Application, still to figure out some stuff but as your an expert on the menu matters, do you know how to add or alter popup menu's in other application's e.g. put an extra popup menu item in say word to run say my own application.
p.s. voted excellent for the code
