Using the Windows API function GetSystemMetrics you can find out lots of information about the PC. There are too many functions to list them all here, if you want to know more then please check the Windows API helpfile delivered with Delphi. |

This gives you the freedom to use the windows api folder dialog box easily. Just install the VCL component and use as you use the open dialog box in delphi |
