       Generates a random n-character string using only 0-9 and A-Z. Just change the value of @NumberOfChars to get different lengths. Might be useful to generate passwords or acceptance codes. Sorry about lack of comments, but I couldn't get the formatting righ ...(description truncated)

       Here are two SOUNDEX algorithms, as PL/SQL stored functions. Each proc returns a code for the input last name, which can be indexed and queried.

       This procedure can be used to to perform a text replace in all tables in the database in a single command. It will search all the string columns in the database, except for system objects, and replace the text you define.
