What is Java (tm)/ Javascript? |
The Java (tm) language was created to allow one
piece of code to run on different types of machines without rewriting it. It has
the look and feel of C++, without many of the more advanced features that often
get programmers into trouble. The Java langauge is supported by all of the major
Internet browsers and is a driving force in Internet web
development. It was created by Patrick Naughton, Bill Joy and James Gosling of Sun
Micrososystems.
JavaScript, is a scripting language used to
create interactive web pages. Though less powerful than the Java programming language, it is also
much simpler to learn.
