I started programming when I was 12 or 13, back when the AOL was popular. The "progs" that people made to hack AOLs shoddy software were what initially inspired me to start learning programming. I bought myself a copy of Visual Basic 3 and I loved it. I made a bunch of simple programs for AOL and eventually became interested in designing simple games, or replicating games I was familiar with.
